Christina is a registered Speech-Lanaguage Pathology Assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication science disorders from Appalachian State University in 2013. She earned her speech-language pathology assistant degree Caldwell Community College, where is completed course work and clinicals in area of Pediatric Speech Language Pathology. She has gained valuable experience working in different settings. Christina also gained experience and exposure by frequently initiating volunteer and shadow opportunities with licensed speech pathologists. Christina has a passion for the speech therapy field, and it shows in her work ethic and the connections she makes with her clients and families. Before joining the Speech Tactics family, Christina provided therapeutic interventions for children ages 1-13 years throughout the community, in homes and daycares. She has experiences working with kids with a variety of communication challenges, including receptive & expressive language delays, and articulation/phonological delays.
Christina is family oriented and loves spoiling her niece. She likes to please her friends and family. She has found the easiest way to keep them happy is to feed them, so she has found a love for cooking. Experimenting with food is fun for her. She has fun doing anything really as long as she’s got the right people around her.
