Elizabeth Piña is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who recently joined Speech Tactics to begin her career. She attended Western Carolina University where she received two degrees in 2017, including a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She completed her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Carolina University in May 2019. During her last year of graduate school, she was appointed treasurer in the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA). Elizabeth has experience in a variety of settings, such as, Western Carolina University’s Speech and Hearing Clinic, home health, school settings, hospital setting, and outpatient clinics. Elizabeth is passionate about working with children of all ages to help strengthen their communication needs and giving them a voice. One of her goals is to give back to the bilingual community. Elizabeth was born and lived in Chicago for 10 years then moved to Canton, North Carolina in 2004. Although she loves the mountains, Elizabeth’s heart will always belong to city life. She now resides in Charlotte with her Australian Shepard, Coco. In her spare time, she likes to read, hike, travel, and adventure with friends, and spend time with family and Coco.
