Shannon McKinnie, MS, CCC-SLP is an ASHA-certified speech language pathologist, who has worked with children in various settings for the past 16 years. During her professional career, Shannon has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations in various settings. Shannon recently moved from south Florida where she worked in a pediatric clinic for the past seven years. As a clinical supervisor, Shannon enjoyed supervising graduate students, Speech-Language Pathology-Assistants, and Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows. Shannon has worked with children with Developmental Delays, Feeding/Oral Motor Disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism, Language-Based Literacy Disorders, Fluency Disorders, and Articulation/Phonological Disorders. She has received specialized training in PECS, Is It Sensory or Is It Behavior, AEIOU Feeding Assessment/Intervention, and Early Intervention. Shannon is passionate about helping children experiencing speech-language-hearing delays/disorders reach their maximum potential, and empowering their families help them reach their goals at home. She is constantly inspired by her clients, as they work to achieve their communication goals.
