Amanda Pericles, MS, CF-SLP was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She received a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences from Boston University. After graduating, she spent four years initially working in private practice as a speech-language pathologist assistant followed by working as a developmental specialist in early intervention, where she worked frequently with Spanish-speaking families. Amanda earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University. Her additional clinical experience includes evaluation and treatment in the schools, outpatient pediatric feeding, and inpatient rehabilitation with patients who have experienced traumatic brain injury. Her clinical interests include feeding and swallowing, voice, and traumatic brain injury. Amanda hopes to earn her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification to continue supporting families in the areas of feeding and swallowing. She is also new to the Charlotte area and enjoys finding good cafes and places to eat, reading, makeup, binging television shows and documentaries, and spending time with her husband and one-year-old.
