Roxy Laguerra was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she lived close to the beautiful beaches, and spent her free time reading books. She’s earned two bachelor’s degrees, one from Universidad de Puerto Rico (Interdisciplinary Studies) and the other one from Universidad Carlos Albizu (Speech-Language Therapy). Roxy traveled through beautiful mountains providing speech therapy to children in Puerto Rico.
With over 14 years of working in the field, Roxy believes her true purpose and passion is for providing speech therapy to children. She is creative, energetic, and places a high priority on parent education. Roxy has a wide range of experiences in various settings and with a variety of diagnoses. She has experience treating children with articulation disorders, language disorders, and ASD, ages 3 to 18 years. When Roxy is not providing speech therapy, she is usually exercising and reading books on the weekends.
